Carson Valley Golf Course is known for its idyllic setting along the Carson River, shaded by numerous century-old cottonwood trees. There are more trees on this 18-hole golf course than any other in Carson Valley. Water hazards come into play on nine occasions. The course provides a fun challenge for players of all skills levels. There is also a driving range and putting green for golfers to use. The affordable rates, in addition to the player-friendly layout, have made Carson Valley Golf Course a favorite among the locals. It has been voted Carson Valley's favorite three years in a row and it was also the Nevada Golf Course of the Year in 2007.
