Fallon Golf Course is a popular nine-hole course in northern Nevada with greens that rival the best courses in Reno. The Carson River winds through the layout, coming into play on several holes. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout and a few holes are lined by out-of-bounds stakes, putting a premium on accurate shots. The golf course is also heavily forested with towering cottonwood and willow trees, adding another challenging element. Fallon Golf Course's signature hole is the par-3 seventh, which requires a long tee shot over the Carson River to the green beyond. There are additional sets of tees that can be used to play an 18-hole round.
