From the beginning, Northgate Golf Club has been a standout in the burgeoning Reno golf scene. Voted by Golf Magazine as one of the best new courses in the country, Northgate gives High Sierra golfers a scenic, links-style challenge that will have them coming back for more.
Playing to nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees with a slope rating above 130, Northgate has hosted two Reno Open Tour events, as well as annual U.S. Open Qualifying tournaments. Combining well-maintained fairways and greens and well-placed bunkering, Northgate has earned a reputation as the "St. Andrews of the Sierra."
Elevated greens give golfers awe-inspiring views of the surrounding mountains, making Northgate a favorite of locals, as well as vacationers who choose Reno as their golf destination of choice. Add to that the low green fees that are common in the High Sierra, and you'll see why Northgate holds its own in Reno.
