The Timilick Club is part of a gated community located between the North Star and Squaw Valley ski resorts, making it conveniently close to plenty of activities for the family. The high-mountain terrain of the course allows golfers to enjoy some spectacular views of the Lake. The landscape is varied, offering a meadow nine accented with pine forests, lakes, and streams and a mountain nine with rocky outcroppings and interesting elevation changes. Small greens and strategically placed bunkers make shot placement essential to doing well. The Timilick Club's seventh hole is one of the most notable holes on the course. It is a long par-3 that is inspired by the famous "Redan" hole of North Berwick Golf Links in Scotland with a well guarded green that angles right to left behind and to the left.
